Reaching the Next Generation

Impact Campaign for a New Pool Complex

We're at a crossroads, eager to serve more but limited by our current facilities.

More than 2,500 kids have missed out on the camp experience since 2022, and we want to change that!!

THE GOAL
We want to reach more kids, teens, and families for Christ!

THE CHALLENGE
Although our staff is passionate about reaching more children and youth in our community, our current pool (built in 1980) limits us due to its outdated size, overall age, and lack of support amenities.

We need your help reaching more youth with the Gospel message by building a new pool complex to support additional growth.

We have started construction on this project! Check out our Improving Beachmont page to see updates and progress photos!

Our Vision for the Future

We plan to replace the existing pool complex to continue being faithful to our mission and serving our community with excellence. An updated and expanded pool facility would meet those goals for the next generation. With an expanded footprint for the main pool, a secondary pool for beginner swimmers and lessons, and modern amenities, we envision:

  • More children attending our Summer Day Camp and hearing the Gospel message!

  • Age-appropriate spaces for kids to learn to swim, gain confidence, and have fun!

  • Fixing and updating long-overdue critical infrastructure!

  • Creating more fun, fellowship, and better support for all ages and user groups!

  • Enhancing the camper and guest experience for all our user groups for decades to come!

  • “My son tends to be an anxious kid, but at Beachmont he really opened up and tried new things. He always came home so excited to tell us about his day. It gave us such peace of mind that he was having fun and learning about Jesus in the process!”
    – Jessica V.

  • “Every summer, we go on vacations and plan other trips with family, but Beachmont is my daughters’ favorite part of summer! They talk so much about the involvement of the counselors. I can’t say enough good things about the counselors. Those young men and women truly care about each individual child.”

    — Laura A., Day Camp Parent

  • “I don’t know what you all pump into the air there, but my kids enjoy that wholesome, old fashioned camp experience. What keeps our family coming back are the Christian values, engaging, attentive counselors, and amazing experiences they couldn’t get anywhere else.”

    — Christy T., Day Camp Parent

  • “The place has changed our lives. We can’t help but smile when we talk about our memories at Beachmont. Every day I picked them up, they were happy, happy, happy. They never wanted to leave. You can tell Beachmont is always thinking about how to innovate the camp experience to make it as wonderful as possible for the kids. The staff is more than just our friends, they’re our family.”

    - Charlene C., Camp Parent and Volunteer

  • “Beachmont showed me how to be an enthusiastic, caring leader. I experienced so much growth there, and I’ll be forever grateful for those times.”

    - Joseph M., Former Day Camp Senior Staff

  • “When I asked other moms where their kids went to camp, their answers were all the same -Beachmont. I encourage other parents to consider Beachmont for their child. My son loves the counselors and talks about them like they’re his best friends. We do other activities throughout the summer, but nothing gets him more excited than when I say it’s time for Beachmont! It’s truly the highlight of his summer.”

    - Jane M., Day Camp Parent

  • "My son comes home sharing his excitement for the Lord."

    -Cassandra., Day Camp Parent

  • “I distinctly remember seeing a Senior Counselor singing loud during worship, and I thought to myself, ‘I want my heart to be on fire for Christ like his heart is,’” says Kyle. “The next day I met with my Senior Counselor, John-Michael, to tell him I wanted to accept Christ as my Lord and Savior. We prayed together and I have been a follower of Christ ever since.”

    -Kyle Wedemeyer, Day Camp Staff

A Legacy Sown in Faith

From humble beginnings with just 48 campers, Beachmont has grown and flourished to serve over 2,300 children each summer in our Day Camp program and many more people and churches through Family Night, Teen Night, Swim Lesson programs, and our campus rentals. This remarkable growth has been possible through God’s faithfulness and provision along with partnerships strengthened by the incredible generosity of individuals and local churches.

God has richly blessed our ministry through your prayers and generous gifts, and we trust He will continue to do so.

At Beachmont, our leadership is deeply committed, intentional, and purpose-driven, ensuring every contribution fulfills our mission for maximum Kingdom impact.

1973

Aimee Foard and the Twinings met to discuss the future of Beachmont farm, laying the foundation for today's thriving ministry.

1980

Built in 1980, the existing pool has served as the hub of our Summer Day Camp, other programs and community events for over four decades.

2023

Today, Beachmont has reached maximum capacity serving kids, teens, families, and others due to an outdated and undersized pool facility.

Expanding the Mission

Today, over 2,300 Day Camp children, hundreds of teenagers, families, and various groups make memories here at Beachmont every summer. But our existing pool infrastructure leaves many waiting on the sidelines.

We envision a Beachmont where we continue to reach more kids, teens, and families with the Gospel and do it with excellence. This new pool complex would enable us to do both—allowing us to add 552 children annually to our Summer Day Camp while providing larger, program-specific and age-appropriate spaces and modern amenities.

This 23% growth means we can reach over 11,000 additional kids over the next 20 years!!!! The updated amenities will also let us expand our Swim Lesson program and continue to serve our guests even better within our Family Night and Teen Night programs.
